The Ajanta caves are breathtaking UNESCO heritage site. It has Buddhist cave monuments date back to 2000 years. Ajanta caves are renowned for their stunning paintings which depict Buddha’s legends and everyday life of people. These ancient Indian murals are a testament to the country’s rich heritage and finest example of paintings in India.

Ajanta paintings continue to inspire artist till today. But these mural paintings are deteriorating. There was an urgent need to roll back in time and re-visit the bygone days of our glorious antiquity. This is my homage to our historical monuments, our artists, craftsmen and engineers who made possible these truly historic pieces of art.
